7 February

Registration for Acas’s East Midlands Annual Conference, “New Directions and Business Transformation”, is now open. The event will be looking at some of the hot topics and recurring problems in HR and employment law and giving you top tips, practical takeaways and the unique opportunity to network, share ideas and ask questions of our experts on the issues that matter most. Attend thought-provoking masterclasses led by expert guest speakers:

  • Michael Baddeley – Ricoh will share their story around change in Ricoh, not just adopting new ways of working but also their organisational change.
  • Jean Cabena – Remploy will talk about Remploy’s journey out of Government to an employee owned business and explain how Remploy can potentially help your organisation.
  • Peter Lawrence – HMRC will explain how the focus on OD within HMRC has shifted to building capability and the benefits that brings.
  • Malcolm Boswell – Acas will be encouraging a new approach to age issues in the workplace.
  • Andrew Macmillan – Gately will provide the latest employment law news including any recent relevant case law decisions.

Acas Senior Advisers will also be on hand to discuss any workplace questions that you may have and of course, a great opportunity to network with other attendees over lunch.
