D2N2 European Structural Funds Workshop – Nottinghamshire

20 July, 2016, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Up to £6.3m of European Social Funding (ESF) is now available to prospective organisations to deliver the Skills Local programme across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

The SKILLS Local programme aims to support and incentivise employers to provide work related training for their low skilled workers and to provide work related higher skills pathways for their current workforce, including apprenticeships.

In addition to the SKILLS Local programme, businesses and individuals will soon be able to access up to a further £10.6 million of employment and skills support across D2N2. This European Social Funding will support the development of an integrated system of support across D2N2 which will help people and businesses develop the skills required for employment and growth in the forthcoming years.

Free information sessions for organisations interested in bidding and delivering the SKILLS Local programme and the other ESF programmes shortly to be announced will be held later this month (July), where they can learn more about the priorities of D2N2’s ESF programme.

These sessions will all be held from 10am to 2pm (lunch will be included):

The events are free to attend but places are limited and must be booked in advance.
