Doing business with Nottinghamshire County Council

15 April, 2016, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Businesses will get the inside track about how to tender for public sector business at a special event organised by Nottinghamshire County Council.

The Meet the Buyer event on Friday 15 April 2016 from 9am to 1pm at King’s Mill Hospital Conference Centre will give businesses the opportunity to meet the County Council’s procurement team and find out:

  • How to do business with the County Council
  • Registering through the e-tendering portal
  • Getting ‘tender ready’
  • Responding to ‘Invitation to Tenders’
  • Insight from service commissioners.

Nottinghamshire County Council spends over £600 million every year with local firms buying goods and services. The County Council is committed to helping local businesses understand how the public sector buys goods and services, to help grow the local economy and create more jobs for local people.

The event will highlight how you can make your business ready to apply and bid for contracts from the public sector. If you find the tendering process difficult to navigate and you’re not sure how, why and when contracts are tendered, take a few hours out and talk to the officers involved from the County Council.
