Skills for the future – Employment and skills summit 2017.  Developing skills to underpin the Industrial Strategy across the Midlands Engine.

Building on previous years’ events, the Chamber’s 2017 Employment and Skills Summit will continue strengthening the link between education and the world of work.  Indeed, this activity will help to create an environment to improve competitiveness, innovation and productivity levels.

What’s it all about?

In summary, the summit will bring together education providers, businesses and policy makers.   This forum is in order to discuss practical ways businesses and the education sector can work together more effectively.  In this way, the correct skills required for economic growth in the East Midlands will be assured.
