Getting Started with Google AdWords

Pay per click marketing & paid search is used to achieve top positions in search engine result pages. When delivered successfully PPC is a very cost effective method of driving traffic to your web site and this course will teach you how to research, set up and manage effective Pay per Click campaigns.

The course will cover:

  • An overview of how Google displays PPC results in the search engines and on other 3rd party websites (Display network)
  • How PPC works, the terminology and jargon
  • Setting objectives for your campaigns
  • Understanding the account hierarchy and what you can change at the campaign, ad group and keyphrase level
  • Step by step guide to opening a new account
  • Linking your AdWords account to Google Analytics
  • Creating your first campaigns & targeting (where your ads will be displayed)
  • Researching the keyphrases used by your customers
