Making apprenticeships work for your business

9 March, 8:00 am - 11:00 am

All things apprenticeships… Looking to start or grow an apprenticeship programme? Want information on the new funding process? Or are you concerned about the levy’s impact on your business? If so, our FREE event will answer all your questions.

During National Apprenticeship Week, Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is hosting a business breakfast to discuss new business opportunities due to apprenticeship changes.

In other words: find out how to get the most from apprenticeships at this FREE event

‘Making Apprenticeships Work for Your Business’ will support you to navigate through these apprenticeship changes.  Not only can we help you explore how your larger business can benefit from the government apprenticeship initiative (by claiming back your levy).  We can also explain the generous government funding available for smaller SMEs.

Topics will include:

  • how the apprenticeship levy will work for your business
  • for non-levy payers, how you can access 90% government funded degrees
  • how to access apprenticeship programmes and training providers
  • your responsibilities as an employer
  • NTU higher and degree apprenticeships.

Furthermore, take the opportunity to hear from industry representatives from levy and non-levy paying businesses.  Basically, these businesses can share with you their own experiences of higher and degree apprenticeships.

In addition, optional sector-specific sessions will help you to explore the benefits that industry-developed NTU higher and degree apprenticeships can bring.  These include increased staff productivity and performance.  At the same time, chat with our expert and knowledgeable NTU colleagues who deliver these programmes to find out how you can get involved.
