Managing Change

16 September, 2015, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Change can be threatening and disruptive to the individual and the business. It can be very hard to implement because it usually involves adapting to a new environment, merging different working cultures, practices and or personal circumstances

This 1 day course considers how an organisation needs to plan for change and the effects that change creates for the business and its employees. We will examine the importance of providing leadership so that your business gets the best from employees before, during and after a period of change. We will also look at the legal aspects of change and prior considerations needed to ensure that issues arising are handled correctly.

The task is made more demanding when businesses need to maintain continuity whilst also implementing change. This together with the existing economic climate presents employers with a real challenge to maximise productivity and resources whilst remaining focussed on their greatest asset, their employees.

The ability of those that drive and implement the change will determine whether that experience is a negative or positive one.
