Passport to Export for the Rail Sector

Ready to export but not sure how? Kick off your export journey with the UKTI Passport to Export scheme: a year’s worth of export support, beginning with a one day workshop on 22 March at the Hilton Leicester Hotel for first time rail exporters, in conjunction with the Rail Forum East Midlands.

What are the benefits of joining the Passport to Export programme?
• Development and implementation of a strategic export Action Plan with the support of your expert
local International Trade Adviser (ITA)
• An export strategy workshop with like-minded exporters that will help to kick-start your journey
• Access to our network of experts based in over 100 locations worldwide, to fast track your
company in the global market place
• Access to a range of training, workshops and webinars to help improve your knowledge and skills
• Regular export sales leads from UKTI’s overseas networks via our Export Opportunities Service
• Up to £750 funding for export related activities according to availability and criteria

The Workshop:

This is a mandatory part of the programme and will cover the following topics:
• Developing a strategic international trade plan
• Researching the market
• Communicating internationally
• Routes to market
• Pricing and payment

Our rail specific workshop will take place on 22nd March. Other dates may be available

Cost:
The usual £250 joining fee for Passport to Export will be waived for companies attending this workshop
and signing up before the end of March 2016.
