Pitching your product workshop

4 May, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Pitching Your Product Workshop – plus 1:1 mentoring support package.  Learn how to create your perfect pitch and how to ensure that buyers are interested in your product.

Have you got a product or service to sell and want to talk to some buyers? Then you need to work on your story and your approach.  At this interactive, FREE half-day workshop business development specialists, Ian Abbott and Liz Bolt will take you through some easy to apply ideas.  This will cover how to be much more effective in getting your proposition over to the key people.  Since this event forms part of the Enabling Innovation programme, funded by ERDF, local firms can attend for free.

Why attend?

This event will:
• Explain what buyers are looking for and how to interest them in your idea or product.
• Help you understand the best way of preparing ‘the pitch’ to the buyer, and the ideal content for this.
• Explain a model that you can use to create the pitch (IOCBA).
• Introduce the concept of negotiation and how the pitch fits with that.
• Run a couple of simple exercises for you to practise a pitch and to see how some of the ideas work.

Not only that, but following on from the event you will receive 7 hours of 1:1 business mentoring or design mentoring.  The business mentoring will be from Ian/Liz and the design mentoring from Dana/Paul, our resident design advisors. It’s up to you who you work with but spaces will be limited so it’s a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.  You must sign up to the 1:1 support if you would like to attend this event – you will be asked for your option after booking online.
