Rural Means Business Conference

Find out more about the funding available to boost the D2N2 rural economy.  If you are a rural business or even working in a support agency or public body then this event could be for you.

In the first place, this FREE event will introduce European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and LEADER funding.  At the same time, it will also cover the range of rural business support available in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.  Of course, this is the area covered by the D2N2 LEP and D2N2 Growth Hub.

Morning sessions

10am to 10.10am              Welcome to the Conference

10.10am to 10.30am        Overview of Rural Policy and EAFRD

10.30am to 10.45am        ESIF Main Programme – with Lindsay Allen of the D2N2 Growth Hub

10.45am to 11am               LEADER Presentation

11am to 11.15am                Presentation on the D2N2 Growth Hub

11.15am to 11.45am          Focus on: ‘How a local business has benefited from grant support’

11.45am to 12.25pm         Workshop 1

Lunch

Afterwards there will be a networking lunch from 12.30pm to 1.15pm.

Afternoon sessions

1.15pm to 1.45pm             Workshop 2

1.45pm to 2pm                 Conference close with Rob Mayo.
