Technologies on Energy Efficient Buildings

26 October, 2016

The University of Nottingham’s Department of Architecture and Built Environment would like to invite members of The Ingenuity Network and the wider business community to this event.

This seminar and exhibition aims to set up a cooperation platform between Taiwan and European countries to exchange technologies on energy efficiency buildings and foster cooperation between academics and industry. Involving the University of Nottingham’s Department of Architecture and Built Environment, National Energy Program-Phase II (NEP-II) in Taiwan and World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies, industry delegates are warmly welcomed to attend.

The outstanding existing research outputs from NEP-I and NEP-II will be showcased at the event to exhibit the technologies on the energy efficiency buildings of Taiwan. EU companies will also be invited to present their technologies and an exhibition of related technologies will be held throughout the day.

An information database for energy efficiency buildings will be established after this seminar to keep on promoting cooperation between Taiwan and EU countries on the technology of energy efficiency buildings and to continually foster cooperation among academic organisations and industrial companies.

The main topics will be:

1. Renewable energy technologies
2. Insulation technologies
