Everyone Active, who manage Ashfield District Council’s Leisure Centres will sponsor an artificial ice rink in the Active Ashfield Village and the Active Ashfield Games ‘It’s A Knockout’ competition which will be hosted at the Ashfield Festival on Sutton Lawn.

The Idlewells Shopping Centre will sponsor the main Music Stage which will host an array of local talent throughout the day and conclude with an early evening concert.  The event will take place on Saturday 6 July between 10.00am and 7.00pm.

Councillor Steve Carroll said, “We are very grateful for the support of Everyone Active and the Idlewells Shopping Centre. Their contribution will further enhance the festival atmosphere for people of all ages to enjoy.”

There is still the opportunity for local businesses to get involved in the Ashfield Festival either by supporting with sponsorship or hiring trade space.  For details on sponsorship opportunities, contact Carol Hallam, Event Manager, on 01623 457410 or e-mail c.hallam@ashfield-dc.gov.uk.  For trade space contact Gill Brookes or Donna Chadwick on 01623 457091.
