The success story of SF Media

SF media

18 months ago two friends decided to turn a dream into reality by becoming business partners to start their own online marketing and web development agency: SF Media. With 25 years of combined industry experience, their brave move from secure, well-paid jobs to entrepreneurs has seen them outgrow their office space and is now creating employment for local people.

Two friends, and now business partners, have taken their business plan and implemented necessary actions to grow their client base and business. They were quick to identify the benefits of aligning themselves with the Mansfield 2020 business development group. They have been consistent with their networking and have taken advantage of the opportunities the group provides to local businesses.

They have worked hard to grow their client base across the UK as well as raising their profile in the local area. They have worked on some fantastic projects and forged strong relationships with organisations in Mansfield like Vision West Nottinghamshire College and Mansfield CVS.

Directors Pete and Jamie share their plans for the next 12 months: “In order to continue our success and to help us continue to grow, we are moving into larger premises and recruiting our first apprentice to join the team over the next few months, with plans to take on a second apprentice by the end of the year. In addition to the apprenticeships, we also have two HND multimedia students undertaking 8 weeks’ worth of work experience over the summer.”

The schemes Aim Higher and Graduates into Enterprise are able to help you find undergraduates and graduates respectfully to help develop your business and the skills of the young people hired.
