Growth Plan Consultation – More time to have your say

June 24, 2016 7:18 am

To give you more time to share your views with us, the deadline for submission has now been extended to July 18th 2016.  As businesses, residents and stakeholders in the local economy, you are encouraged to have your say on a consultation draft of ‘Ashfield & Mansfield – A Plan for Growth’ to ensure that it accurately reflects the priorities of the local area.

Front cover

Ashfield District Council and Mansfield District Council have rated the growth of the local economy as being among their highest priorities and are keen to do whatever they can to stimulate that growth.  As it is 5 years since the existing growth plan, the ‘Ashfield and Mansfield Joint Economic Masterplan’ (JEM) was adopted by the two local authorities, a review of that document has been carried out and this is your chance to let us have your views.

How to have your say

Please follow this link to read the consultation draft and if you could then take a few minutes to complete the survey your input will be gratefully received.

Next steps

Once the consultation closes, on July 18th, we will carefully consider all of the responses received and changes will be made to the document as appropriate.

The amended version will be recommended for adoption by both councils and all of the received comments will be included in those decisions.  Once adopted, the final version of the Plan for Growth will be published on the two district council websites.

If you have any further questions then please contact Paul Thomas via pthomas@mansfield.gov.uk
