Multi award-winning Hall-Fast has been crowned the East Midlands’ Online Business of the Year by the British Chamber of Commerce and will now go forward to the National finals to represent the East Midlands.  This latest accolade, the company’s twentieth major award, in recent years, was collected at the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chambers Annual AGM which took place on Thursday 31st October at Southwell Racecourse.

Hall-Fast operates a collection of e-commerce websites, of more than 100,000+ products that trade across numerous continents. All of these websites are controlled by a single integrated administration interface that provides online catalogue management and order processing.

Commenting on this latest accolade, Malcolm Hall Hall-Fast MD said: “We are delighted to have won another major award! Our current projections for 2013 will see on-line sales growth of 623% this year, and the rapid addition of products to the online catalogue in the first six months of 2013 has almost doubled the stock items available for sale online.  This level of growth means that online activity will contribute significantly to total turnover in the medium term and offers very good potential for our future growth prospects. We expect our direct online sales to be circa 25% of our sales next year.”

This year’s British Chambers of Commerce ceremony will be held on Thursday 28th November at The Brewery London, one of London’s most prestigious venues, and will also see one lucky winner walk away with a £25,000 cash prize courtesy of the RBS Group.
