It’s a Knockout at Ashfield Festival

Active Ashfield is on the lookout for teams of eight adults aged 16 plus to enter the ‘Everyone Active It’s a Knockout Challenge’ at Ashfield’s premier summer event, the Ashfield Festival on Saturday 6th July at Sutton Lawn.

The competition is part of the Active Ashfield Games which starts with an Opening Ceremony at Ashfield School on Saturday 29th June. Teams will represent Active Sutton, Kirkby, Hucknall or Selston and will compete in a fun competition involving giant inflatables, water and foam.  Closing date for applications is Friday 21st June 2013.

Portfolio Holder for Community Wellbeing, Councillor Warren Nuttall said: “This is a great opportunity for groups of friends or work colleagues to get involved in the Active Ashfield Games. It’s a fun way of getting some physical activity, and ideal for team building.”
