Low carbon workshop

In partnership with Local Enterprise Partnerships, DECC and DEFRA, DCLG are running a Low Carbon Workshop in the East and West Midlands. The dates and location are as follows:

 

  • West Midlands – 1 Staffordshire Place, Stafford ST16 2LP 15th March PM
  • East Midlands – Leicester City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ, 7th March PM

 

The aim of the workshop is:

  • Provide clarity and support to LEP Partners on Priority 4;
  • Provide technical expertise from DECC and DEFRA;
  • Barriers to bringing forward low carbon activity;
  • Provide local feedback on Priority 4 delivery; and
  • Opportunity to network.

 

A detailed agenda will be emailed out nearer the time but to enable the workshop to focus on local requirements please provide no more than three low carbon areas that you would like more information, or have enquiries about by the 15th February 2016.

 

Please email these to Thomas.Blackmore@communities.gsi.gov.uk for the West Midlands; John.Fuller@communities.gsi.gov.uk for the East Midlands so we can collate these responses. There is no regional demarcation as such, but please be aware that numbers are limited and initially would be restricted to one person per organisation.
