Caroline Cox recieves award

The East Midlands Chamber hosted its annual Enterprising Women/Integra awards aimed at celebrating the achievements of women in business across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

The event attracted business leaders throughout the East Midlands and awarded winners in 6 categories. BBC TV East Midlands Today anchor Anne Davies hosted the event and presented the awards that included the Rising Star 2015 award which went to Mansfield business women Caroline Cox of Mansfield 2020.

The award recognises star performers who have contributed to an organisations overall success by going the extra mile.

Commenting on the award Ashfield & Mansfield AMbassador Caroline said: ‘To find out that I was nominated for this award was over whelming but to actually win is an honour that I don’t take lightly. I truly do mean it when I say I am bless to wake up in the morning and get paid to do a job that I not only love but know it has a positive impact on the town that I have chosen to live in.

I am thankful to have a board of directors that support me in driving and growing 2020 for the benefit of our members and the town. This recognition is for the members that give me the tools to help and support them.

I am passionate about putting Mansfield on the map in a positive light – I listen, support and act. I’m driven to get businesses involved to be part of the solution. I donate my time to several projects because I have a long term vision for our town and it will be marketed as the best place to do business. We are already the hub for the fastest growing SME’s in the East Midlands. Watch this space!’
