South Nottinghamshire LEADER Programme is open for business

The South Nottinghamshire LEADER Programme is a new allocation of EU funding to help support the development of the rural economy and create new jobs – with up to £1.3m available in grants over the next five years.

The grant funding is available to rural businesses and organisations in parts of Rushcliffe, Gedling and Ashfield to support projects focused on any of the following:

Increasing farm productivity
Supporting new and expanding small and micro businesses
Rural tourism
Rural services
Forestry productivity
Completed Outline Applications will be accepted by the programme from between Monday 29th February to NOON Monday 14th March 2016.  The Outline Application form to be used when applying for LEADER funding can be found here.

What you need to do now:

1)      Ready to apply for LEADER funding? Then email craig1.edson@nottscc.gov.uk to confirm        attendance at the Workshop, and the location will be confirmed.

2)      For those of you developing your project and not currently ready to apply for LEADER funding: email craig1.edson@nottscc.gov.uk and he will contact you to arrange assistance with developing your project.
