Taylor's donate minibus to Baily House care home

The residents of Woodleighcare’s Baily House Care Home were delighted to be donated a minibus for their use. Donated by B.Taylor and Sons, a transport company based in Huthwaite.

The founder of the company Barry Taylor, now lives at Woodleighcare’s Baily House Care Home.

The current Managing Director of B. Taylor & Sons Transport Ltd – Alan Taylor said “It is always a pleasure to support local services and hopefully when the summer eventually arrives the residents and staff will enjoy regular day trips in the minibus”.

Rachel Squire the manager at Baily House said “How excited residents and staff were when Barry Taylor offered to donate a minibus for resident`s use. The new minibus will make going on trips, outings and other events so much easier. If residents feel like going down to the park on a sunny afternoon or on a trip round the Christmas lights in the December it will be much easier to organise these spontaneous events.”

A special Victory in Europe day celebration had been organised with old time songs, and a street party theme, so the presentation of the minibus made it an extra special event.
