Grow your rural business with grants of up to £170,000* from the LEADER fund.  Financial support is available to Nottinghamshire based rural businesses looking to expand their operations and create new jobs with grants of up to £170,000.  Please note that this maximum amount is subject to exchange rates since the grant is calculated in Euros (€200K).  This is because the money has been provided by the EU as part of the LEADER funding programme.  Find out more.

Who can apply?

These grants can be used to invest in new equipment, improvements to business premises and machinery.  Grants are available to rural businesses based in specific geographic areas of the county including parts of Ashfield and Mansfield.

Businesses eligible for support from the scheme include:

  • start-up, micro & small businesses
  • farming
  • forestry
  • rural tourism
  • rural services

Help and support for your funding application

We realise that small business owners are often extremely busy.  Therefore a dedicated support team is available to help you with your application. The team can not only discuss your idea, but they can also assess its likelihood of success.  Of course, they will also guide you through each step of the application process.

Moreover, you’re in good hands.  The same team has already helped many other local businesses secure £3.5m funding from the Nottinghamshire Economic Development Capital Fund over the past three years.

Furthermore, this is a time-limited opportunity.  So make sure you don’t miss out.  The amount of money available is limited and the deadline for applications is: 30 November 2018.
