Plans for our free Business Expo and Meet the Buyer event are really moving along…

In partnership with the Chamber, we are hosting this free event next Wednesday (23 November) in the Civic Quarter at Mansfield District Council. Our venue not only offers generous free car parking to our business visitors but it also provides the ideal place for a spot of learning and lunch.

Interesting Seminars

We have recently finalised the topics for our talks.  Learn more about the following insightful areas:

  • 10-10:45 Masterclass on approaching and writing tenders: Dewi Hughes, Silverlock Tenders
  • 11-11:45 New apprenticeship reforms and what it means for businesses: Lesley Roberts, Vision West Nottinghamshire College
  • 12:30-1:15 Digital business growth programme funding: Jon Egley, EBusiness Club

Sign up and come along to find out more about how your business can benefit from each speaker’s expertise. Start off with top tips on maximising your company’s success in accessing lucrative contracts.  Next learn how the Apprenticeship Levy will affect your company, large or small, and the opportunities it brings.  Finally discover how your growing business can benefit from funded ICT seminars and workshops, digital advice and support, technology grant funding and training.

But it doesn’t all end there…

Fruitful Opportunities

Buyers will also be on-hand for face-to-face appointments from a range of organisations, including:

  • Ministry of Defence (MoD)
  • East Midlands Chamber of Commerce (EMCC)
  • Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)
  • Ashfield, Bassetlaw and Mansfield District Councils

Other buyers will be confirmed shortly.

Pre-registered delegates will be able to book appointments from this Wednesday.  So remember to book your place now.  After all, it is completely free to register and it also includes free refreshments and a light buffet (served around noon).

Promoting Your Business

As a delegate, you will access the main exhibition hall full of local companies showcasing their offers. However, if you really want to get noticed, book your own stand.  All companies from Ashfield & Mansfield can access the discounted Chamber rate.  For more information, please refer to our original announcement or the Chamber’s dedicated webpage.

We look forward to welcoming you next Wednesday.
