Additional Regional Growth Fund roadshow announced for Nottingham

Round 6 of the Government’s Regional Growth Fund (RGF) is now open with over £200 million available to businesses in England. Potential bidders can find out more at regional roadshows running in July and August throughout England.

BIS will be hosting an additional roadshow on Friday, 1 August in Nottingham with over 70 local businesses due to attend.  This event will cover what makes a good bid and how bids are assessed – essential listening for anyone thinking of submitting a bid.

The Nottingham event on Friday 1 August will start at 10 a.m. at: Level 4 Concert Hall, Theatre Royal & Concert Hall, Theatre Square, Nottingham, NG1 5ND.

Projects looking for over £1million which will create or safeguard jobs and raise private finance of at least 1:1 are welcome to bid.

So far the Regional Growth Fund has allocated £2.9 billion in support to businesses and intermediaries. This support is expected to lead to 573,000 jobs and generate £16 billion in private investment.  For more details on the programme and the other roadshow locations, please visit The Regional Growth Fund webpage.
