Creative and Digital Business workshops in North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire

Creative and digital enterprises can access free business support from The Big House programme through Nottingham Trent University.  In fact, The Big House is now on the third instalment of the Elevator series, running in North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. With fast-paced, interactive workshops, creative and digital businesses can plan for future growth and gain new insights into key areas to support them.

In summary, improve your problem-solving capacity and unlock your creative thinking with Lego Serious Play©.  Moreover, learn practical business applications for this process that can seriously improve your ability to innovate.

Creating Content for Digital PR

15 May 2018 – Wingerworth

In short, great content underpins successful marketing.  This practical workshop will teach you both how to make video and write copy that is appealing, engaging and useful to your target audience.

Optimising Your Website

7 June 2018 – Mansfield

Explore ways in which your website can work better for you and make the most out of existing traffic to your website.  Also learn how you can optimise your site to generate more sales and revenue per visit.

Eligibility criteria

In summary, businesses who can access this Big House support must be:

  • a creative or digital business
  • an SME (small-medium sized enterprises have fewer than 250 employees)
  • trading or is ready to trade
  • based in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire.

The Big House programme is delivered by a consortium of sector specialist partners, who give free support to creative and digital SMEs and entrepreneurs within Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.  Find out more about all the support on offer in The Big House.  Moreover, this three year programme is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and ends in 2019.
