If you have been told you need to blog but have no idea how to begin, or even what to blog about, the Blogging for Beginners Workshop will get you started.

Delivered by Ridgeway Marketing, topics covered include:-

• finding topics for your blog
• finding keywords for SEO using Adwords Keyword tool
• improving your writing style
• finding free images for your blogs
• editing images using Pixlr and Canva
• uploading your blog on WordPress*
• I’ve finished! Now what? Sharing on social media and email

What’s more, as this is a hands-on workshop, you can bring along your laptop and create an actual blog on the day.  In addition, the presenter will support you further by email and phone with any queries you have after the workshop.

Further information and registration

Tea and coffee will be available from 9am and the workshop will start at 9.30am.  Please bring your own laptop (preferred) or other wifi enabled device to work on.  The NBV Enterprise Centre has free wifi but no guarantees can be made about speed when a group of us are using it at the same time.  So if you have access to 4G on your phone you may prefer to use that.  If you have any questions about the workshop content before you book, please feel free to contact the organisers.

This workshop is competitively priced at £50.  The Enterprise Centre is next to David Lane tram stop so is easily accessible by public transport.  In addition, it also benefits from free parking.

* Don’t worry if your website is not built in WordPress, all the rest of the workshop will be relevant.  Just ask your website designer or find out how to upload a blog before the workshop.
