China masterclass series: Chinese business culture workshop

15 May, 2017, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

NCC

Want to know more about doing business in China but don’t know where to start?  Come to this FREE event.  As a result, local firms will learn more about doing business in China.  It is hoped that closer trading ties will be made following the signing of a Friendship Agreement between Nottinghamshire and the Chinese province of Zheijang.

The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) training event will provide local businesses with an awareness of China and Chinese business culture.  In addition, there will be an insight into how misunderstandings can arise (and be overcome) during business interactions with Chinese people.  Trainees will also learn about practical skills in order to make business interactions with China more successful.

The session is aimed at local companies.  These can either be about to export to China for the first time or looking to increase their China business.

What’s on offer?

Attendees will gain:

  • An understanding of China and the mind-set of Chinese people
  • An understanding of Chinese culture and its influence on doing business
  • Confidence and effectiveness in communicating and maintaining relationships with Chinese partners

Further information

The half-day training session will be hosted by Nottinghamshire County Council and supported by the Department for International Trade (DIT).  Book online here.
