DGP: Improving productivity with cloud and mobile working

29 November, 2018, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Digital Growth Programme logo

Business challenges can disappear when you are flexible. And nothing improves business flexibility as much as cloud computing and mobile working.

What’s on offer?

This action planning workshop cuts through the jargon to show you how the cloud can drive business growth, productivity and flexibility. Whether you are a sole trader, run an organisation with a mobile workforce or simply need to gain an edge over your competitors, this workshop is for you.

The workshop will explain what is meant by the ‘cloud’ and ‘remote working’. It will highlight the benefits that embracing the cloud can bring to your business, including some that you may have overlooked. For example, cloud computing greatly enhances the scope for effective collaboration with your clients, with your supply chain and with business partners. Cloud also switches IT costs from capital expenditure to pay-as-you-go and enables you to scale your business far more effectively.

The workshop looks at the practicalities of cloud and mobile working. This includes connecting to the cloud, deciding on cloud services that are right for your business and securing your cloud access. Furthermore, it doesn’t shy away from the potential risks of embracing the cloud in your operations. Indeed, it shows you how to minimise and mitigate these.

As a result of attending, delegates will understand the benefits cloud and remote working can bring to their businesses. Furthermore, they will also have the knowledge and understanding to begin their cloud and remote working journeys.

Who is it for?

Flexibility, productivity, scalability, growth, collaboration, automation. If any of these are important to you or your business, then you need to attend this workshop.

In order to attend this fully funded event, your organisation must have registered and have been verified as eligible to receive support through the Digital Growth Programme. The process of registration is quick and easy and you only need to go through this process once. Register now.
