Enabling Innovation: Intellectual Property (IP) for SMEs

Join the Legal Advice Centre for a seminar on IP and how to protect your business innovations.  Nottingham Trent University invites local small and medium organisations from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to this Enabling Innovation event exploring Intellectual Property (IP).  Furthermore, experts from Mills & Reeve will also be presenting.

Expert speakers

This IP session will be presented by Mark Pearce and Natalie Welch from Mills & Reeve.  Mark is a former physicist who has been advising clients on the protection and exploitation of their IPRs for over 30 years.  Moreover, his clients range from start-ups to multinationals.

Furthermore, Natalie specialises in advising clients on the enforcement of IPRs and has experience of both High Court and IPEC proceedings.

This informative session is a great opportunity for SMEs to discover more about how NTU can help their business with legal and innovation support.  The event is free to attend for all businesses eligible for the Enabling Innovation programme and refreshments will also be provided.

Enabling Innovation is a three-year collaboration between Nottingham Trent University, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Derby.  In short, Enabling Innovation supports SMEs in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to innovate.  It is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
