Energy for business event: Measure, monitor, generate and store

25 September, 9:30 am - 26 September, 4:30 pm

Nottingham University Logo

In short, knowing where energy is used within your business is the first step to reducing energy use.  Of course, results can include lower costs, increased efficiency and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.  Indeed, this can also help to protect you from future energy costs and improve the image of your business.  And all this at a time when environmental credentials are becoming ever more important to customers.

Who’s it for?

If you would like to answer the following questions, then this Energy for Business two-day event is for you:

  • Do you know where energy and resources are used within your business?
  • Do you know how much your equipment costs to run?
  • Are you trying to reduce your greenhouse gas emissions?
  • Would you like to adopt renewable energy or storage systems?

If you are a growing and innovative company or an established business with an interest in improving your bottom line, then this event is for you.

What’s on offer?

Both university and industry experts will be sharing their expertise during this two-day workshop.  In summary, it will cover the following topics:

  • Day 1 will feature energy measurement and monitoring
  • Day 2 will feature generation and storage

Furthermore, you can sign up for just one day or for both days.  However, eligible attendees of both days of training will receive a free OWL Micro+ Electric Energy Monitor on completion of the workshop.

This Energy for Business event is hosted by our Energy Innovation & Collaboration team alongside invited experts.
