Ingenuity: Currency of Trust

22 March, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Nottingham University Logo

How does trust affect your bottom line?  Every business has ‘trust stakeholders’ – people and organisations who put their trust in your company to do something, be something, deliver something.  But what is ‘trust’ and why does it matter so much in business?

In this free half-day workshop for SMEs, Dr Jonathan Tallant, Associate Professor of Philosophy, will be exploring why trust is such a valuable commodity.  We’ll be looking at: the different types of trust and how they apply to your business; case studies of trustworthy and untrustworthy behaviour in business and the impact of this behaviour; who your trust stakeholders are and the strengths and weaknesses in your own trust relationships; and ultimately the impact of trust on your bottom line.

A popular speaker at Ingenuity events, Jonathan has been praised by delegates for his ability to facilitate ‘new thinking to break me out of ruts’, hisgreat presentation style and humour’ and ‘thought-provoking and stimulating’ content.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity for insights into great business-relevant research and to learn something new.
