Ingenuity: Experience marketing for improved business performance

It’s the experience that really matters! Experience marketing for improved business performance.  Is your business geared towards delivering a service?  Would you benefit from a better understanding of how customers’ experience your service? 

What’s included?

This free one-day workshop from the Nottingham University Business School will help you to:

  • map how your customers engage with your service
  • determine what types of experience marketing might yield best results
  • improve business performance

The workshop is aimed at small businesses in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.  It offers up-to-date expertise, discussions and practical sessions to benefit your marketing plans and customer experience. Lunch and networking sessions are also included.

The workshop will be led by Sally McKechnie, Associate Professor in Marketing, Nottingham University Business School and Scott McCabe, Professor of Marketing and Tourism, Nottingham University Business School.

Following the workshop, a range of further support will be available, offering a number of opportunities designed to enable you to grow your business in key areas.

Registration will begin at 9:30am with the final agenda yet to be confirmed.  Since this is a free event, it is bound to be popular.  So don’t delay, register today.  You will then receive all relevant information.

The venue

You’ll find Broadway on Broad Street in Hockley, Nottingham’s cultural quarter.  Just five minutes’ walk from Market Square and close to all the city’s main bus stops.  The railway station is ten minutes away on foot and there’s a tram stop in the nearby Lace Market. Broadway customers can get four hours secure parking at The Lace Market Car Park (formerly Fletcher Gate) for £3, and a £2 event ticket on the tram.

Am I eligible?

This workshop is primarily for SMEs based in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. An SME:

  • has under 250 employees
  • is not more than 25% owned by an enterprise that in itself is not an SME
  • has an annual turnover of less than €50m OR has an annual balance sheet of less than €43m
