Invest Ashfield & Mansfield - The area for growth

This FREE event focuses on public procurement processes.  Furthermore, it seeks to enable more small organisations to feel empowered about tendering for locally-available work across North Nottinghamshire.  It aims to clarify the process involved, as well as showcase where the opportunities can be found.  In addition, it will outline the support available and share some examples of best-practice.

In conjunction with the local authorities, the NHS, and Mansfield & Ashfield 2020, the Chamber has organised this seminar, which is primarily aimed at small firms and the voluntary/community sector operating in the area.

Why attend?

In short, public sector organisations have proactively taken steps to simplify the whole process.  This has been done in order to help local firms pitch for available contracts.  Indeed, many are broken down into smaller components, representing lucrative and accessible opportunities for both SMEs and social enterprises.

In a bid to keep their expenditure local, the public sector is eager to clarify some common misconceptions about what the process entails.  Not only that, but it would also like to welcome more tenders, help raise quality standards and promote best-value.

This seminar offers an informal opportunity to raise any questions (or concerns) about existing processes.  In addition, it provides suppliers with an opportunity to ask questions for public buyers to address.
