The Sheeo Alliance: Actualising your goals in 2019 – achieving your potential

This evening session will introduce you to the tools, techniques and support available to help you and your business reach its full potential.  Furthermore, it will include vibrant panel discussions with influential and innovative business leaders and thinkers.

What’s on offer?

Humanist psychologist Carl Rogers (1902 – 1987) believed that all people share an innate motivation or drive to grow as individuals.  And to challenge themselves to achieve their full potential.  He called this the actualising tendency.

Aimed at SME business owners, this early evening session will introduce you to the tools, techniques and support available to help you and your business reach its full potential through vibrant panel discussions with influential and innovative business leaders and thinkers.

There will also be opportunities to network with like-minded people, speak to the Nottingham team of the D2N2 Growth Hub about the types of one to one business support available to SMEs in Nottingham city, hear about B-Global; the exciting new local network for black businesses and The SheEO Alliance a network for female millennial entrepreneurs.

The Psychology of Goal Setting – Samuel Boateng, Founder of Build and Master

Samuel is an award-winning sales expert, business advisor and speaker.  In fact, he was recently responsible for managing and generating new business for over 700 companies across London whilst at Toyota Material Handling.  Moreover, in 2016, he was a candidate on the BBC’s The Apprentice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

After his time on the show he founded Build and Master.  Build and Master is a learning platform for entrepreneurs and professionals, supporting entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses and helping professionals develop in their careers.  This is accomplished through online courses, seminars and online resources constructed and delivered by some of the UK’s leading entrepreneurs and industry experts.

Reinventing for a digital revolution – Susan Hallam MBE,CEO of Hallam Internet

With more than 30 years’ experience in the digital industry, Susan is a leading influencer in the internet world.  She has always believed in the power of data and knowledge.  And that successful digital engagement and transformation drives business success.

She is a practising digital marketing consultant and a public speaker.  Furthermore, she is Managing Director of Hallam, one of the UK’s leading digital agencies.

Susan gained an MBE for services to entrepreneurship and innovation in the Queen’s Honours in 2018.  Also in 2018, Susan became a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing.  She is a Freeman of the City of London and a Trustee of Nottingham Castle.  She is also chartered member of CIM and CILIP.  Born in the USA, Susan has lived in the UK since 1985.

The Future of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies – Miguel Pascual ,COO of Bitchain Capital

Miguel works on a professional basis with some of the world’s leading companies to help find the people and opportunities which will lead to some of the most exciting disruptions of the 21st century.

Personal branding for Entrepreneurs – Esther Akpovi, Founder of The SheEO Alliance

With a keen interest in legal governance and business, Esther Akpovi surrounds herself with the challenge of developing a network.  This network will aid a platform of ‘creating business with the law’ – an area that has remained grey in a few legal systems in our world today.  Esther is the founder of The SheEO Alliance, a community organisation focused on personal development and growth mobilising the future female leaders.  And, as such, Esther has revealed herself to be that optimistic and goal-driven individual, who savours the opportunity of meeting and intellectually connecting with new people.  Indeed, her primary aim is to educate, entertain and empower (key tools in surviving in various economies) female entrepreneurs.

Finding your Identity – Asma Iqbal, Founder of Bespoke Life Coaching

In short, Asma has mentored and held workshops for the last 12 years.  As an executive consultant of the Notts Scouts Association and ANNNetwork, Asma had a key role in the management decisions, empowerment courses and re-branding.  She has also engaged with numerous youth services, schools, community groups and professionals.

The aim of Bespoke Life Coaching is to empower people to reach their fullest potential.  By applying positive psychology, Asma coaches professionals, businesses and groups to identifyopportunities to progress in their organisations.  This is done through interactive group workshop delivery, as well as focused individual support.  Its efficacy is evidenced through numerous success stories of those reaching their potential.

Jonelle Awomoyi is hosting this event, a student at the University of Nottingham.  Alongside her studies, she has also founded Psycon UK, the first ever media platform focusing on mental health and sexual education.  Jonelle is an educational presenter and motivational speaker for Elevate Education and Spaggetti Maths.
The former Youth Member of Parliament for Croydon is currently a British Youth Council Parliamentary Ambassador focusing on securing the Real Living Wage for all young people in the UK.  Moreover, Jonelle is passionate about women’s rights as a keen member of the National Council of Women.
