University of Nottingham: Learn how the National Grid innovates

15 February, 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Nottingham University Logo

The University Innovation Park will be hosting a series of Business Challenge Breakfast events throughout 2018.  This is the first of the series, inviting members of the local business community to join an Innovation Round-table on How the National Grid innovates and drives innovation.

The way in which corporates and large organisations view innovation has changed in recent years.  Moreover, many now engage external players to help.  For SMEs and start-ups this is an ideal opportunity to engage with potential customers.

What’s on offer?

The first Business Challenge Breakfast of 2018 is an opportunity to hear how National Grid innovates today.  Afterwards there will also be an opportunity to hear from, and engage with, an expert panel.  This includes Stephen Marland (National Grid), Prof Simon Mosey (Haydn Green Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship), David Summerland (Entrepreneur & co-founder of Search for The Next Ltd) and Prof. Seamus Garvey (University of Nottingham).
