Fully Funded Leadership and Management courses in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire

July 14, 2016 11:53 am

Achieve economic growth by investing in skills and creating local employment opportunities via the fully funded courses currently on offer.

The Nottingham Joint Investment Strategy (JIS) is funded by CITB and Nottingham City Council. It aims to improve growth in the construction industry by developing skills for local people.

A range of our Leadership and Management courses are now available until December 2016 with full JIS funding subject to companies meeting the eligibility criteria.

Places on the courses are limited so early booking is essential.

Eligibility Criteria

Places are available for companies with fewer than 250 employees (not part of a larger group employing more than 250 Full-Time Equivalant (FTE) employees).

To qualify for training:

  • You must be based in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham or Nottinghamshire or an employee that can prove their residency there

Employers must be registered with CITB (or confirm Levy registration) and be in the scope of CITB. Each company can send a maximum of two participants to one course or one participant to two separate courses

For the Level 3/4 and Level 6 NVQ courses prospective candidates will need to complete a pre-course questionnaire to assess the suitability of each participant before they can be accepted onto the course.

To find out more and to book a place visit the CITB website (Link now closed).
