As part of the public consultation about the High Speed Two route, a local information event is being held at Bilborough College, Nottingham on Saturday, 30th November between 10am and 5pm.  A free bus service will be provided to help people travel to and from the event, with stops at Annesley Woodhouse and Hucknall included in the route.

Leader of the Council, Cllr. Chris Baron, said the event provided an ideal opportunity for people to express their views and learn about the High Speed Two project: “Residents should take advantage of this consultation event to hear how this project is going to affect parts of the district and I would advise them to attend and get their views across at this early stage.”

The bus will stop in Ashfield at a number of places; the complete timetable is on display at local libraries.  Please note that this bus service is offered on a first come, first served basis. If you are unable to use the bus service, then please contact 020 7944 4908 (lines open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) to discuss possible alternatives.
