Local employers sought for employability days

February 14, 2014 10:49 am

We are searching for employers to support employability workshops

The workshops take place at the following schools on the following dates:

  • Queen Elizabeth’s Academy – Thursday 6 March and Wednesday 7 May
  • Manor Academy – Wednesday 19 March, Wednesday 25 June and Wednesday 9 July
  • Meden School – Friday 21 March and Friday 9 May

The Enterprising Schools – Me2Work Programme is funded by Mansfield District Council (through its Pathway to Work Initiative) and is being delivered in partnership with Ideas4Careers and the Mansfield Learning Partnership (MLP).  This programme involves various workshops to help young people prepare successfully for the world of work. Research shows that learning becomes real when employers are involved in supporting the activities – and this is a key feature of all our programmes.

If you would like to know more about this programme and would like to support one of these dates, please contact Berni Dickinson – Director of the MLP on: 01623 623149 ext 3833 – or admin@mansfieldlearningpartnership.co.uk.  If you cannot support this time but would like the chance to get involved in the future, we’re always on the look out for employers so please get in touch.
