A recent retail survey of Mansfield town centre shows vacant properties at its lowest for over 2 years.  At just 13.47% this figure lies below the national average and also represents a significant decrease from three months ago when it was 15.44%.  This new figure (13.47%) also compares well to the same time last year when the vacancy rate was 14.6%.

But the success stories don’t stop there…

  • Mansfield Palace Theatre recently announced a record-breaking year with average attendance rising from 70% to 74% and the most popular pantomime for 5 years.  Read more here.
  • Mansfield Transport Interchange opened last year, improving vital linkages with the railway station and delivering more people through its doors every day than East Midlands Airport.  Read more here.
  • Queen’s Place, a new eco-building in the heart of Mansfield town centre was officially opened in December 2013, offering high-quality retail and office space.  Read more here.
  • Mansfield BID have been instrumental in delivering a number of benefits to the town, including free WIFI, free PAT testing and recycling services to businesses and help with reducing their energy bills.  Visit their website.
