This October half-term sees the Mansfield Palace Theatre take part in the new national Family Arts Festival. The Festival will hosts many events across the country aimed at bringing more families into theatres. We will host two events, targeting a wide range in audiences – from the very young to the very young at heart!

The Family Arts Festival will be the first UK-wide festival including theatre, dance, music and visual arts events designed to increase family participation in the arts and building on the momentum of the London 2012 Festival and Cultural Olympiad.

Mansfield Palace Theatre will play host to the loveable Postman Pat for our younger audiences on Wednesday 23 October whilst the whole family can enjoy the amazing illusions and tricks using modern day tech, with Jamie Allen, iMagician on Saturday 26 October.

The website for the Festival, has full details of over 400 events already confirmed to be part of the family Festival celebrations. The Campaign and Festival have been made possible by a major Lottery grant from Arts Council England.

Postman Pat and Jamie Allen iMagician are at the Mansfield Palace Theatre this October half-term. To book, please call the Box Office on 01623 633133 or book online at
