New Costa Coffee in Hucknall

February 14, 2014 2:55 pm

A new Costa Coffee branch, which opened on 14th February 2014, has taken over the empty retail unit next to the Card Factory, on the High Street in Hucknall.

The newspapers report that more than 1,300 people applied for six jobs at a new Costa coffee shop in Hucknall. Sham Ramparia, a franchise partner of Costa, said he was “overwhelmed” with the volume of applications the store received.

Ken Robinson, Chairman of Hucknall’s Tourism and Regeneration Group, said: ““It is good news for the town as it means another shop occupied.  I don’t think it will affect current businesses as they have loyal customers and their own clientele.”
