Nottinghamshire Community Foundation’s Dragons’ Den

Calling all budding entrepreneurs.  Do you have a business idea you want to develop?  Would £3,000 help get your business idea off the ground?  Then why not apply for funding from NCF’s Dragons’ Den?  Nottinghamshire Community Foundation have organised another Dragons Den style event hosted by Nottingham Trent University.  In fact, this is the eleventh Nottingham Dragons’ Den Panel.

What’s on offer?

If you have a business idea and want to apply for a grant to help you on the road to success, then apply to the den.  We are inviting applications from budding entrepreneurs to apply for a grant of up to £3K to support their business development.

The Dragons

The panel includes:

  • Melanie Currie, Deputy Dean, Nottingham Trent University Business School
  • David Marlow, CEO, The Nottingham
  • Beverley Parr, partner of B & J Parr Ltd
  • Kevin Shakesheff, Pro Vice Chancellor, Nottingham University

Further information and application

To be considered for a grant, applicants need to be a resident of Nottingham city or county, be able to submit a realistic business plan and have a great enterprise idea.

You can download a business plan template via the website and also a basic forecast template.  In addition, if you have any further queries or need more copies, please contact Nottinghamshire Community Foundation direct.

Moreover, all applications must be submitted by 9.30am on Wednesday 28th March 2018.  Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their ideas to the Dragons at Trent University Business School at a date to be confirmed.  Please either email your business plan and forecast or post to:
