We’d love to stay in touch: GDPR

Invest Ashfield & Mansfield - The area for growth

You may not realise it but next month some new regulations come into force.  Known as GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation, comes into force in Europe on 25 May.  These regulations form the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years.  In order to comply with this new directive, we will shortly be contacting all our newsletter subscribers and other businesses who have previously registered for our help.

What’s involved?

When we email you, we’ll ask if you want to subscribe to our newsfeeds.  This would typically include our regular email newsletters and targeted e-alert campaigns on upcoming events or other information.  Of course, we will include more information in the email.  You will then need to decide what to do.  Please bear in mind that if you don’t give us permission, then we will no longer be able to send you useful information on business events, grants and other news.

More au revoir than adieu

While we won’t be able to continue to keep you up-to-date without your express permission, goodbye needn’t necessarily mean goodbye forever.  If you change your mind later on, you can easily re-subscribe via our website.  But please, don’t do this just yet, simply wait for the email to drop into your inbox and respond to that.

Further information

If you would like to know more about GDPR, please visit the dedicated website.  Equally, if you would like to share any feedback with us regarding our communication, please feel free to drop us an email.  We really hope that you will want to stay in touch.
